Thursday, January 29 – Sunday, February 1, 2026 | Open and Senior Divisions

Our annual Mid Pines Invitational attracts a strong field of golfers annually. The tournament is played on our Donald Ross-designed golf course and offers two divisions (Open & Senior). It has become one of the most prestigious team events to kick off the tournament season in the southeast. Registration will begin after Thanksgiving with priority given to past players. 

Thursday, February 26 – Sunday, March 1, 2026 | Open and Senior Divisions

Our annual Pine Needles Invitational features a strong field of amateur golfers from around the country competing over three days on two signature Donald Ross–designed golf courses. Due to the popularity of the event, the tournament field is oversubscribed. Priority is given to past players.

Wednesday, April 1- Sunday, April 5, 2026 *Waitlist Only*

Each year over Easter Weekend, couples flock to Mid Pines to compete in the annual Couples Carousel. Experience three exciting rounds, each with a unique format so that no two days are the same. Rekindle old friendships or bond with new couples over gourmet meals, friendly competition and nightly entertainment.

Friday, October 30 – Sunday, November 1, 2026

Mid Pines is one of the few courses in America that recalls the early days of golf in the 1920s, which we embrace whole-heartedly with our annual Hickory Open. This festive tournament attracts a field of 100 Hickory Enthusiasts from all over the world and includes three days of championship golf with period dress and equipment from the 1920s.

Wednesday, November 11 – Sunday, November 15, 2026

For more than 50 years, couples from across the U.S. and Canada have joined the “Quest for the Bell” at our annual Couples Jamboree. Enjoy five full days of great food, good friends and old-fashioned Southern hospitality, along with friendly competition and golf instruction on two of the top four courses in North Carolina.
